Angsty story idea I just had:
Wild is feeling homesick for the home he had before the calamity and before he drew the Master Sword. All the other Links have their places of origin and he wants to know his own. He asks Flora but she doesn’t know where his home was. She only knew him at the castle. He prays to Hylia to show him his home.
Later, the Chain's in his Hyrule and they’re riding horses somewhere and Wild sees a ruined house out in the wilderness surrounded by blue nightshade (which is the symbolic flower of BotW/TotK Link). He realizes that this is his home and he ends up having a long memory of some of his life as a child living there.
He then finds something from that old time like a buried chest of valuables his family buried before the Calamity for safekeeping.

Vincent van Gogh ֍ Ploughed fields ('The furrows') (1888)
Van Gogh applied the paint thickly, in all directions, to paint the churned up clods of earth. He himself was quite satisfied with this landscape. He wrote to his brother Theo that he would also like it, because it was 'quieter than other canvases'. He hoped that this would also make it easier to sell. But that never happened.
Van Gogh wanted to hang this painting in the Yellow House in Arles, where he had been living for just over a week. He ordered a frame made of spruce, a light type of wood that he matched to the colours in the painting

- Man, I know the ox is doing most of the work here, but still... - It's a lot, right? Oh hey, did you hear Dame Emme had another holy vision? - Oh I love that for her.

"you can't just take this character and put them in an AU where everything in canon is stripped away from them!"
i can, actually. i have a permit.
"they won't be the same character!"
that's partly the point.
what's left of who they are as a person, at their core? and what would change about them?
if you think they'd be too unrecognizable that sounds like a skill issue, i'm creating 500 different versions of your babygirl and they are all my husbands

I just got offered to be the ghost for someone seriously, internationally famous? Huh? It's a three book deal and would solve many of my problems but also... it's all a bit too good to be true?

(hi im american) there are some walking trails near where i live, but isnt anywhere else to walk, which is why i never go outside haha
i live in the suburbs tho, cant say the same for cite dwellers
half of walking is about going off the trail and just wondering around the nature and plants and greenery and going "woagh. this place is massive and also lovely and also would kill me with half the chance". thats the walking experience. and if you gotta clamber over a fence or squeeze through a gap to do that then you do it. and people wonder why americans stay inside
